Analyst or Consultant - Capital Markets in DACH with German skills (f/m/x)
Your tasks:
- You develop future-proof business and operating models, including their execution into the client organization for financial institutions, investment firms, and capital markets players
- You seek and find answers to client’s challenges and needs in topics related with capital markets, securities operations and/or asset management
- You analyze financial institutions, market trends, regulatory developments, and investor needs, both retail and institutional, presenting findings in a structured and management-oriented manner
- You contribute to our market studies (e.g. European Asset Management Study), publish own articles and white papers on topics driving the market
- With increasing experience, you will take on more responsibility, present work results to our customers, manage project streams, lead projects and become increasingly involved in business development activities
Your skills:
- University degree in finance, economics, business administration (Master’s or PhD) or comparable academic background. Alternatively, as an Analyst, you hold a B.Sc and target the Master in parallel to your professional career
- First professional or project experience in consulting, the financial sector, investment management, end-to-end processes of financial institutions (front-to-back), including trading, risk management, and/or operations
- You understand how to combine your capital market-oriented knowledge of liquid and illiquid asset classes with regulatory requirements (e.g. UCITS, AIFMD, MiFID II, PRIIPs, SFDR, CSRD)
- You think strategically and enjoy challenging the status quo
- Strong methodological and analytical skills, with the ability to structure complex problems, derive data-driven insights, and develop well-founded recommendations
- In addition to your mother tongue and English, since projects are conducted in German-speaking countries, fluency in German is required
- Readiness to travel for project assignments in the DACH region #LI-KN1
